Staying healthy into the new school year

Immunisation is a simple, safe and effective way to protect your family from harmful diseases this holiday season and into 2020. Visit your doctor for general health and vaccination advice.

Immunisation not only protects you and your family but also others in your community, by reducing the spread of preventable diseases.

Children starting school in 2020 must have up-to-date immunisations to enrol.

These vaccinations help protect children from highly infectious and severe diseases including whooping cough and measles.

Travel health

If you’re travelling overseas during the school holidays, you may need vaccinations or medication – both for general health protection and for region-specific diseases.

If you’re travelling to the Northern Hemisphere, you may even need a flu shot.

NSW schools respond to bushfires

Many schools are responding to the catastrophic fire rating that is affecting communities across the state this week.

We are continuously updating the School safety page with a list of government and non-government schools, as well as TAFE NSW campuses that are currently non-operational.

While some schools are temporarily non-operational due to localised fires, many others in high-risk areas are non-operational as a precautionary measure.

Schools in some areas are being used as emergency evacuation centres at the direction of the Rural Fire Service.

For schools that are currently operational, school pickups and dropoffs will continue as usual. If your school is currently non-operational, it will likely remain so tomorrow.

Large scale distressing events affect our school communities in many ways. Headspace’s mental health support resource (PDF 100.52KB) is available to help students, teachers and school staff respond to the bushfires.

Visit the School safety page for updates. The department’s Facebook and Twitter accounts will also provide updates during this period.

This Australian Reading Hour, encourage your child to discover or rekindle their love of a good book. Take the time to learn, escape and relax on Thursday 19 September and read for one hour.

Get involved at home

Join in at home and read your child a bedtime story. Studies show that reading a bedtime story six days a week can give kids almost a year’s head start when they begin school. Reading has also been shown to develop empathy, promote critical thinking and help children find a sense of self.

Join in from the classroom

Bestselling children’s author and illustrator Matt Stanton will broadcast live to primary school children across the country from the Sydney Opera House on Tuesday 17 September. We invite schools to register for the livestream of this free event.

Stanton’s author talk is among more than 140 events happening across the country involving more than 50 authors.

Take the Book Swap Challenge

We all have favourite books that we come back to again and again.

To help celebrate Reading Hour take our Book Swap Challenge. We want students, teachers, staff and parents to try reading something new on the day. To get involved, simply pair up with someone and swap your favourite books.

Take a photo and tag it with #ReadingHour so we can see how you got involved.

Video – #ReadingHour authors talk about their favourite place to read

Duration: 0:38

Looking for a good spot to open a book? We asked authors Benjamin Law, Morris Gleitzman, Jacqueline Harvey and Mick Elliott about their favourite place to read.

The Game Changer Challenge is back

It’s not too late to become a Game Changer with applications for the Education Week challenge due by 7 June.

The Game Changer Challenge brings 16 teams from public schools across NSW – eight from primary and eight from secondary – to Sydney during Education Week in August for a three-day, intensive design-thinking workshop.

The Game Changer workshops, which start on Tuesday 6 August, includes teacher training in the use of design thinking as a teaching methodology and its application for school planning.

It also includes a team competition where schools will work under the guidance of experts from industry and academia to develop a solution to this year’s critical question: How might we humanise technology?

Department of Education Secretary Mark Scott has encouraged students and teachers to get behind the event as it highlights the critical thinking students will need to develop to succeed in the future.

“The Game Changer Challenge is an exciting initiative that helps educate and inform our students and teachers on how to integrate the problem-solving methodology of design thinking into the classroom,” Mr Scott says.

“It embraces the 21st century skills our students will need to thrive in a globalised world such as collaboration, creative thinking and communication.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for our students at all levels to be involved in discussing and addressing a real-world issue that will affect their future lives. I encourage every school to get involved.”

The challenge is designed to make strong learning and teaching connections to the NSW syllabus specifically in the area of developing general capabilities such as critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, communication and problem-solving.

The challenge also provides teachers with an opportunity to gain exposure to the design thinking process and includes teacher resources to introduce this creative problem-solving methodology into the classroom.

Finalists will be selected based on a 60-second video that showcases your team’s vision around the question of humanising technology.

For more information email edweek@det.nsw.edu.au or visit the Game Changer Challenge page.

Your NAPLAN questions answered

The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) is a point in time assessment for students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9. The tests assess the foundational skills in reading, writing, spelling and numeracy that are essential for every child to progress through school and life.

This year NAPLAN takes place between 14 and 16 May for paper tests and between 14 and 24 May for schools participating in NAPLAN Online.

NAPLAN data is used to help monitor student progress over time against a national measure and to identify areas of strength and improvement. It is used in combination with other school assessments to guide and support student learning.

Watch students ask an expert the tough questions about NAPLAN.

Bring back memories, not measles

With school holidays just around the corner, it’s time to visit your doctor to check that you and your family are fully protected against measles, before you travel overseas.

Measles is a serious, highly contagious, viral illness that is easily spread through the air when an infectious person coughs, sneezes or breathes. If you and your family are not fully vaccinated, or have never been vaccinated, you are at risk of contracting measles.

Not sure if you’re fully protected?

In Australia, the measles vaccine (MMR) consists of 2 doses. If you’re not sure whether you’ve had 2 doses of the measles vaccine, visit your doctor. It’s safe to receive another dose.

Children born in Australia

If your children were born in Australia, they may have received the measles vaccine at 12 months old and the second dose at 18 months, in accordance with the National Immunisation Program.

If you have a baby under 12 months old, consult your doctor about getting their measles vaccination.

Adults born in Australia

Born before 1966 – you were most likely exposed to measles as a child and are generally considered to be immune. If in doubt, ask your GP.

Born between 1966 and 1994 – you may not have received 2 doses. Talk to your doctor about the free vaccine if you’re unsure.

Born after 1994 – the National Immunisation Program offers 2 doses, and you can check your vaccination status using the Australian Immunisation Register.

For more information about the measles vaccination, visit NSW Health or consult your local doctor.

5 road safety tips for parents and carers

Now that students are back to school after a break it’s a good time to chat with your child about safe behaviours when you walk or commute to school.

Here are our top tips to help our students make a safe trip:

1. Be alert and aware

Take note of the dangers you come across on your walk and bring them to your child’s attention. Point out dangers, such as vehicles coming out of driveways. Talk to your child about being alert in a road environment.

2. Hold hands

When on the footpath, at a crossing or in a car park always hold your child's hand. It is advised to do this up to the age of at least 8 years old and closely supervise until at least the age of 10.

3. Choose a safe crossing

Lead by example and choose a safe place to cross the road. Explain why it is the safest place to cross.

4. Set a good example

Your child watches everything you do, so if you cross at the crossing they will too. It is also important to share these messages with other carers who may walk with your child to school.

5. Stop, Look, Listen, Think every time you cross the road

Discuss this important road safety message. STOP! one step back from the kerb. LOOK! continuously both ways. LISTEN! for the sounds of approaching traffic. THINK! whether it is safe to cross.

Practise makes perfect

The more supervised practice your child can get the better, so why not make Term 1 the start of a new routine to walk with your child to school more often.

Older children may be ready to make the journey to school independently. Before they take this step, observe if they are road safe and reinforce the road safety messages.

For more information, check out the department’s pedestrian safety advice for students, parents and carers.

2019 school budget allocations

Like all NSW public schools, this week we will receive a School Budget Allocation Report with our funding for 2019. The report will help us manage our total budget delivered through the Resource Allocation Model (RAM).

The RAM supports schools through needs-based funding to ensure a fair, efficient and transparent allocation of funds. Our school has the flexibility to make local decisions based on the specific needs of our students.

We will use our 2019 funding to support students and improve educational outcomes. The school executive will continue to work with the school community as we implement the school plan using this needs-based funding.

Learn more about the 2019 RAM funding.

On Thursday 6th April, Kendall Public School's Robotics team competed in a series of challenges against 12 other teams from the Camden Haven Community of Schools. The challenges included a drag race, finding specific locations and following trails, dropping balls into a chest and marking territory by planting a flag. After some minor setbacks and high pressure repairs, the team finished the day with an outstanding point score of 155 points, landing them solidly in second place (only 2 points behind the winners!) The team was very proud of their efforts and are looking forward to seeking new opportunities to test their skills.

Kendall kids continue to show great care and concern for their school environment. This week we started our ‘Rubbish Patrol' initiative. Students in KO and K/1B were so eager to check that their playground was clean and tidy this week. Having the students out on the playground and so visible has also been a great reminder to everyone to take responsibility for their own rubbish and put it in the bin. Many of the children are very enthusiastic about having a turn at being on ‘Rubbish Patrol'. One class will be share the responsibility each week with different students taking on the role each day.

Amber puts herself into the State finals.

Kendall was represented by 5 students last week at the Regional Athletics Carnival held in Coffs Harbour. All five were competing for a place in the North Coast Athletics team to represent the region at the State finals in October. Dylan Chin, Amahli Kennedy, Tiarne Gray, Jasmine OBrien and Amber Kidd did extremely well, with only one of them lucky enough to secure a place in the team with a huge throw in the Senior Girls Shot Put. Amber Kidd threw 8.10m in the event and only missed out on first place by 10mm.

Amber is now preparing for the state finals which will be held in Sydney in October. What a fantastic achievement. Well done Amber.

Our very talented drumming group have been rewarded for all their hard work and practice with a 1st place award in the recent Primary Schools Ensemble competition held in Port Macquarie. The group received a mark of 90% and a lot of praise from the judging panel.

The group has had a very busy year with a CHAFFS performance as well as two showcases at local Nursing homes and at the Kendall Services Club as well as a headline slot at Kendall's very own Education Week Mini Concert. The group has been helped out a lot by our very own drumming extraordinaire, Mrs Barry. A lot of lunch time practice has gone into this award winning ensemble. Congratulations. Please enjoy the video below of our fantastically talented group.

League team miss out on the North Coast championship

Our rugby league team has had an excellent run this year and worked very hard to make it through to the North Coast final. They came up against a well-structured and drilled Banora Point Primary School who agreed to play the final at Grafton last week. Unfortunately the score didn't go Kendall's way in the end but they showed that fighting Kendall spirit right up until the final whistle.

Izach Dennis deserves a special mention as well as Lachlan Green who both had excellent games, Izach coming away with two tries and Lachlan getting through a lot of work in attack and defence. Throughout the competition one player continued to standout for Kendall in attack but also through his devastating defensive work and that is Rhys Hanlon.

Well done to all the students who were involved in the team this year and a huge thank you to the parents who helped a lot with transport.

Kendall's Rugby League team will play in week 4 in the North Coast final against Banora Point Primary School in Yamba. They played very well and defeated Narranga last week comfortably in the North Coast B final. Good luck for next week team.

The team has been extremely busy of late, travelling down to Sydney to play in the NSW All Schools carnival competition this week. Kendall faced off against three very strong teams from around the state and held their own in each game. Although Kendall didn't notch up a win they were only beaten in each game by a try. They should be very proud of all that they've achieved.

Our rugby league team has again qualified for the NSW All School rugby league carnival held in Sydney in Term 3. They went through our districts carnival undefeated and are eager to get down to Sydney and try their luck against Schools from all over the state. The team will be representing our region in the Open B division.

Two days after Kendall's success at the All Schools carnival the team fronted up to play Hastings PS in the NSW PSSA knockout competition. The team played very well in the first half and went to a four try lead before halftime. The game finished 24-4 and the win now means Kendall will come up against Crescent Head Primary School in the next round game which will be held at Kendall in week one of Term 3.

Kendall's latest sport results

It's been an extremely busy start to the sporting Term. So far in Term 2 alone we have seen Kendall competing in PSSA knockout competitions in tennis, cricket, soccer, rugby league and netball.

Our tennis team had advanced to the 4th round in PSSA knockout competition which saw them travel to Macksville to play a very strong team from Grafton. Unfortunately Kendall weren't able to snag the win but Mrs Budai commentated on how well our team represented our School with fantastic sportsmanship.

Our girls netball team weren't strong enough to beat Harrington Public School today at Laurieton going down 8-6. A big thank you to Miss Brooks for all her time helping to coach and train the girls.

Our boys cricket team played against North Haven Public School in round 3 of the PSSA competition today as well. Kendall opened the batting which saw Izach Dennis and Lachlan Green having to retire on 40runs each as well as Jaspa Calicetto and Rhys Hanlon piling on the runs. Kendall amassed a total of 180 runs in 25 overs which was always going to be hard to chase down. North Haven tried their hardest but weren't able to score enough off some great bowling especially from Jaspa who snagged four wickets. Well done boys.

Our boys soccer team played against North Haven Public School in week 5 which was great to see Kendall fielding a soccer team the first in a few years. Unfortunately, the boys were beaten by a very strong North Haven outfit. Thanks to Mr Sheridan for putting in the time to coach and train the team.

Our Rugby League team was able to progress past their first round match against North Haven last week winning the game 24-18. The game was an excellent display of skill and saw the lead change several times throughout the match. Congratulations on a hard fought win.

Kendall's cricketing success has continued with the boys team defeating a strong Tacking Point side late in Term 1. The team now progresses to Round 3 of the NSWPSSA knockout competition and we are waiting on results from another game to determine who Kendall will play.

Our PSSA Tennis team have also progressed further in their knockout competition just overcoming Tacking Point in a very close game that went down to the last game.

Kendall's Netball team are playing their first round game against Laurieton Primary in the upcoming weeks and they have been training at School during their lunch breaks to work on their skills with Miss Brooks and Mrs Wilson. Good luck girls.

Term 2 will also see the first rounds of the Rugby League Knockout competition. Details to come.

Term 1 Sport Update

Term 1 is shaping up to be a very busy sporting Term. So far, we have had a successful year in the pool. After our own Swimming Carnival, Kendall Public School sent 30 plus swimmers to the District Swimming Carnival in Wauchope. From that cohort, 5 of our senior girls made it through to the Lower North Coast carnival which was held in Kempsey. Our senior girls relay team missed out on qualifying for the North Coast carnival by one place. Amahli Kennedy made it through to the North Coast finals swimming an excellent race in the butterfly. Congratulations to Amahli Kennedy and to all of our swimmers this year.

Kendall had both boys and girl's trial for Hastings Camden Haven representative teams in Cricket this Term, with the girls having; Amber Kidd and Jasmine O'Brien being selected to trial in the LNC team. Jasper Calicetto, Izach Dennis and Lachlan Green also trialed for the Lower North Coast boys Cricket team last week which saw both Jasper and Izach selected to play in the North Coast finals in week 7.

Kendall also had four students secure a spot on the PSSA Lower North Coast tennis team today, 29.2.16. Amahli Kennedy, Aislinn Doyle, Izach Dennis and Jasper Calicetto played off against other students from the Lower North Coast region at Kendall tennis courts and all played well enough to make the NC team.

We had 11 students from stage 3 attend the Hastings Camden Haven Rugby league trials this week. Ethan Crossfield, Elijah Coles and Lachlan Pensini were selected to trial for the Lower North Coast team in the under 11's, while Dane Chapman and Rhys Hanlon were selected in the opens division. They'll head to Lake Cathie for the next stage of trials on Monday the 21st of March.

Coming up in sport this Term.

NSW PSSA knockout Cricket is about to start for both our boys and girls teams. Both teams will begin lunch time training in preparation for their games against Wauchope and Port Primary. Notes will go home this week.

Schubert 7's Non Competitive day is coming up in week 8 and Kendall is taking a 3/4 boys team and a 5/6 boys team and two girls league tag teams. We will have some sessions held by Country Rugby League this Term to ensure all students can work on some skills and learn the rules.

Our senior girls have nominated an AFL team to play in the Paul Kelly Cup in two weeks. After a visit and a short skills session from the Sydney Swans our senior girls were eager to try their hands at the real thing. The team will have a skills session this Wednesday with Scott Dalton who is the AFL development officer for the Mid North Coast.

A very busy Term indeed.

We are all very excited about all of the end of year celebrations coming up in the last few weeks of school.

Next Week students celebrate their year of learning at Celebration of Learning Assemblies.

K-2 - Monday 30th November at 9:15am

3-6 – Tuesday 1st December at 9:15am

These assemblies are a wonderful way to celebrate the achievements of all students. The classes have been busily preparing and value these assemblies as a way to recognise all of the hard work and effort that has gone into learning during the year. At these assemblies, students will receive both their Semester 2 Reports and their personal Celebration of Learning certificate. We hope to see family and friends there to support all of our fantastic students.

On the 11th of November a ceremony took place at Kendall Public School.

The people who ran the ceremony were Patrik Calicetto, Macey Wilkinson, Ruby Barry, Jordan Fellows, Holly Coles, Chloe Lenehan, Hayley Ross and Grantly Smith.

We had a minute silence to remember those who went and fought at war for our country. The poppies were placed in the centre garden. The flags were held at half-mast at the beginning of the ceremony.

During the Rouse the flag had was lifted to the highest point. After the minutes silence we sang the National Anthem. Grantly said goodbye to everyone at the end of the ceremony.

Kendall, for the third year in a row have been victorious at the Port Macquarie All Schools Rugby League carnival, winning the open B division and going through the gala day undefeated. The team will now compete at the State Championships held in Sydney in July. The team played some outstanding football yesterday against some stiff opposition. Kendall beat St Joseph's Wauchope in the final after defeating Laurieton, Westport and Beechwood Primary Schools and only conceding one try throughout the whole day. The team have to continue their recent form tomorrow when they take on Frank Partridge Primary School in round 4 of the NSWPSSA competition. The game kicks off at 12pm at the Kendall Showground so all parents are invited to come down and support the team. Good luck!

A huge congratulations to our tennis team who competed in round 4 of PSSA knockout last week in Macksville against Karangi Primary School. The team which consists of Jasper Calicetto, Izach Dennis, Annie Rogers and Amahli Kennedy played a hard fought match against a great tennis team and were very unfortunate not to progress through to round 5 of the competition. Well done team.

Kendall's senior boys Rugby League team played the first two rounds of the NSW PSSA knockout competition yesterday in Port Macquarie. The first game saw the boys up against a strong opponent in Wauchope Public School and the game showed how close the two teams were. It took a dart from dummy half by Patrik Calicetto in the final minute of the game for the boys to seal the win, narrowly beating Wauchope 12 – 10.

Round 2 saw the boy's team play a strong North Haven outfit and the game didn't disappoint. The team's forwards showed how strong and dominating they can be by continually bending the line in attack. The boys built a solid lead and ended up winning the match 18-8. Thanks for all the support from our parents.

The boys will be up against some tough opposition in the next round of the competition. Details of the match are yet to be finalised.

Kendall's Term 2 Sports Update

Kendall has had a very busy sporting start to 2015. Term 1 saw Kendall's reputation as a strong swimming School upheld with Kendall well represented at the Hastings Camden Haven district swimming carnival. That carnival saw four of our school's swimmers compete at the Lower North Coast Swimming Carnival held in Kempsey. The swimmers who represented KPS at District were Amahli Kennedy, Ruby Barry, Clancy Mullen, Annie Rogers and Tahlia Bell. Well done boys and girls.

Once again Kendall are proving that they are a force to be reckoned with when it comes to tennis. Our tennis team, made up of Amahli Kennedy, Annie Rogers, Izach Dennis and Jasper Calicetto defeated Tacking Point in Round 3 of the PSSA knockout competetion held in Port Macquarie. The team, coached by tennis ace Mrs Budai, played very well and demonstrated great sportmanship and determination to make it through to Round 4 of the competetion which will be played later in Term 2.

Kendall Public School will be represented by five of our rugby league players at the NSW PSSA North Coast team trials in Grafton on Friday the 8.5.15. Five of our buddying league stars are travelling north to compete in a gruelling gala day which will hopefully see our boys selected to represent the North Coast in the upcoming state championship. Good luck to Patrik Calicetto, Hayden Crossfield, Conner Sharpley, Rhys Hanlon and Dane Chapman.

The senior boys Rugby League team was recently crowned champions of the North Coast after defeating Terranora Public School at Tweed Heads in the PSSA knockout competition. It was a fantastic effort by the boys and their passionate supporters and meant that they were in the top 8 teams of the state. Last week the team had to travel to Tamworth to play against Tamworth Public School in the quarter finals of the competition and the game was an absoulte nail biter. The game saw another huge effort of support by the Kendall community as well as Mr Sheridan and Mrs Paterson who relished the opportunity to cheer on the team.

Our Kendall team were the first to score and were holding on to an 8 - 6 lead for the majority of the second half. The game came down to the last kick of the ball and unfortunately for the Kendall team the opposition were able to get a hand on the ball to score in the dying seconds of the game. The boys played with fantastic passion and team spirit and weren't too dissapointed by the result but happy with all that they had achieved in the competition. A huge congratulations to the team and a big thanks to all the help from the Kendall parents throughout the competition.

Our boys basketball team played this week in the North Coast A final in Coffs Harbour against Kororo Public School. The boys were excited at the prospect of being crowned champions in basketball as well but unfortunately were up against a very skilled team. Kororo were relentless in their scoring and barely missed a shot. However, our boys showed the Kendall fighting spirit till the end of the game and scored the most pioints they have so far in the competition. The end score was 52- 38 in Kororo's favour. Congratualtions boys, you did your school very proud.

Kendall boys and girls recently competed in a touch football gala day at the Kendall Sportground. Mr Sheridan was very impressed with the great sportsmanship that was on display from the kendall students and was elated at the skill level from both the boys and girls teams. Our girls team were defeated by a well drilled North Haven squad and our boys were also lost after extra time to North Haven. Well done to all competitors who represented our schoool so well.

Kendall boys win North Coast Rugby League Final

The senior boys Rugby League side travelled to Nambucca Heads to play Westlawn Public School in the final of the North Coast PSSA competetion on Tuesday. The team welcomed back Kade Roussell and Patrik Calicetto from representative touch football duties which helped, due to the late withdrawl of Liam Pensini. The first half was a closely contested match with our forwards doing a lot of work in both defense and attack. The sides went into the break with Kendall up by a single try.

The second half saw the Kendall side take the field with determination and a will to win. With some great local kendall support from the side line the boys started playing some of their best football so far. Kendall scored 5 tries in the second half to win easily, 30 nil. Special mention needs to go to Rhys Kendall for yet another impressive game leading from the front in both attack and defense and Kade Rousell for a great game at half back. The parents and supporters who travelled up to Nambucca Heads for the game need a huge thank you as well for all their help in the competetion so far.

The team will now play the winner of the far north coast draw which is likely to be played in the next two weeks.

The last two weeks has seen a lot of sporting triumphs and personal bests for our Kendall kids.

Last week our senior boys Rugby League team played against North Haven and Port Primary in round 2 and 3 of the Classic Shield PSSA knockout competition and they were successful in both games. The team played excellently, passing the ball, working as a team and defending with determination. Round 4 of the competition will be held in Term 3 and the boys will come up against Tacking Point Public School.

Our PSSA tennis team played off this week against Karangi Public School in Macksville. They were close matches against some great opposition and each player was happy to receive some personal bests and only drop 7 games. Gabby Coles, Caitlin Rogers, Izach Dennis and Riley Hughes should be congratulated on an outstanding effort in the competition. It was the furthest any tennis team for Kendall Public has progressed in over 10 years. Well done!

A big congratulations is also deserved for Kade Rousell, Patrik Callicetto and Gabby Coles as they competed in the district touch football trials this week. Gabby and Kade were successful and now go onto to compete in the state finals with Patrik picked in a reserve spot. Great effort.

Next week will see both senior boys and girls basketball teams compete in the first rounds of the PSSA knockout competition. Both teams have been training well at school and are looking forward to competing. Good Luck.

Congratulations to all of our boys and girls in Kindergarten. They have all made such a positive start to school and it is wonderful to see them all arriving at school each day with big smiles. Ms Osborne and Mr Geary report that the children are settled and already showing developing confidence and independence. I know that the Year 5 Buddies are thoroughly enjoying their leadership role in supporting their new friends and level of care and concern being displayed is a credit to each of them. This is just one of the examples of the commitment to values and social responsibility that we are dedicated to fostering at Kendall PS. What a super effort from both Kindergarten and Year 5. Keep it up kids!

Our School Ministers travelled to Forster on Friday 4th May to attend the Impact Young Leaders Conference. The students participated in activities and discussions based on aspects of leadership and how they can work individually and as a team to have a positive impact on the students at Kendall Public School. The students had the opportunity to meet leaders from other schools and each of them learned a great deal about how they can lead others and make a difference. The students will now work together back at school to implement what they have learned, to lead by example and continue the great work that they all do in helping and guiding others.

Kendall Public School is dedicated to doing everything that we can to promote student safety. We are currently reviewing student travel to and from school with particular focus on students travelling to and from school via bike or scooter. Over the coming weeks we will formalising a Safe Travel to School Policy which will outline clear guidelines and expectations for travel to and from school involving bikes and scooters. This will be presented to the School P&C and then published in the School Newsletter and School Website. If you are interested in assisting in any way in contributing to this project, please do not hesitate in contacting our Principal, Mrs Jodie Paterson.
